Hillary Clinton Outraged in the Congo

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lost her cool Monday after a Congolese student, speaking through a translator, asked her what “Mr. Clinton” thought about a Chinese trade deal with the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

“You want me to tell you what my husband thinks?” Clinton replied, clearly irked by the thought of being her husband Bill’s spokeswoman.

“My husband is not secretary of state, I am,” she replied. “If you want my opinion I will tell you my opinion. I am not going to be channeling my husband.”

The only problem? Apparently the translator made a mistake and the student had wanted to know what President Obama thought of the deal. A State Department official tells ABC News the student went up to Clinton after the event and told her he was misquoted. No immediate word yet how Clinton responded.

Regardless of the error, the notion of Secretary Clinton’s deference to her husband clearly touched a nerve with America’s top diplomat. Just a week ago the former President stole his wife’s thunder when he appeared in North Korea to rescue two American journalists detained there. His trip came just as Secretary Clinton embarked on a swing through Africa she hoped would shine light on the plight of the continent.

Still, imagine what the students thought when her response was translated back and they heard Clinton call President Obama her husband.

Real Housewives of Hotlanta’s Lisa Wu Hartwell.. in foreclosure

The hit Bravo show “Real Housewives of Atlanta” should have a name change to “Real Housewives of the Recession” as Lisa Wu-Hartwell and her adorable hubby Edgerton Hartwell are the third set of castmembers to fall victim to foreclosure.
According to TMZ.com, the couple recently lost their multi-million-dollar Georgia mansion to bank foreclosure.
A rep says Lisa and Ed were in talks with the lender to restructure the loan since the home had lost value, but their attempt failed.
In 2007, the Hartwells bought the mansion for $2.9 million but the bank only received $1.9 million when it was resold earlier this month.

The rep adds, “Ed and Lisa are fine. They have settled in their [new] home, that sits on 10 acres and they OWN it!”
Let’s face it, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” makes for great television -ranging from the antics of Kim and NeNe, mystery-man Big Papa and NeNe’s love-hate relationship with Sheree.
Unfortunately for the ladies, the show is also exposing the harsh realities of the current economic times.
No one is untouchable.
If you recall, last season NeNe Leakes was reportedly evicted from her home after falling behind on her rent and so far this season, Sheree was put out of her home, after her soon-to-be-ex-husband allegedly stopped paying the mortgage without her knowledge.

And she’s the sexiest lil firecracker on that show…damn shame what the economy and Keith Sweat are doing to her luxruious lifestyle.. Ha!

SARA STOKES from DIDDY’S Making the Band- ARRESTED!

The former singer from Diddy’s MTV reality show “Making the Band 2″ has once again made the cut — but cops say this time Sara Stokes was using a knife … to stab her own husband.

We know what you’re thinking, “someone must’ve beat the crap out of this woman” — but according to cops, it was the exact opposite.

This bloody mug shot was taken after Stokes was arrested for domestic violence August 2 at their home in Moreno Valley, CA.

According to law enforcement sources, Sara stormed out of the house after arguing with husband Tony — she tripped, fell down and accused him of doing it.

We’re told Sara — who hurt her head in the fall — grabbed a knife and stabbed Tony in the arm — while their 3 kids watched.

Paramedics and cops came and Stokes was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence. The D.A. is deciding whether to charge her.

Sara’s lawyer, Eric Kayira, tells us, “Sara and Tony have a very passionate and loving relationship that on August 2, while having an evening of fun, she slipped and fell, hitting her head heavily on the ground and somehow in the process of helping her Tony got injured.”
